CSA Half Share 2024

Market Style pickup. You “shop” what you like.

The Half share, most find “just right.” This is a Handle basket full of vegetables, about 1 grocery shopping bag, PLUS bulky items like Melons or Cabbage as extras on the side.

If you want, or can, save us the processing fees, we do appreciate cash/check payments.

This was previously the Quarter Share. We had this idea in 2019, and tried it in 2020, and it works.

We invented this share size because we heard so much that people would like a CSA, but “it’s always too much” We heard you. You get all the variety, but in small portions, and we are told “it’s just right.” We found out later that most farms call this amount of vegetable “Half Share”. Maybe it was just the pricing that was “too much.” In any case, we delivered.

We are standardizing our naming to avoid confusion. This is now the Half share. We found that we do not need the Quarter share after all, since people just don’t have that much waste if they get to pick up only what they like. Market style for the win.

Great if you are just one or two people, or a family trying to eat healthier but not loving vegetables too much. We might change that for you, though.
