Our greenhouses are buzzing with life, and as always, we have a delightful selection of vegetable and herb plants ready for your garden!

Our customers often tell us our plants are more vigorous and hardier than those from other sources. Makes sense …

We sell the same plants we plant in the fields.

Every year, we offer a variety of plants, and we also fulfill custom requests. This year is no exception.

Please note: We are a farm, not a dedicated plant nursery, so our plant offerings are available in limited quantities and often for a limited time. Don't wait too long to secure your favorites! Let us know what you're interested in, and we'll keep you updated on availability.

We only sell plants that have been properly hardened and are ready for outdoor planting. This ensures you receive strong, healthy plants, ready to thrive in your garden.

Plants are sold cash and carry only as they are taxable items.

We're proud to offer robust, resilient plants grown with the same care we give our field crops. Our customers often tell us our plants are more vigorous and hardier than those from other sources, which makes sense since they're grown to plant in our fields.

The difference? Again, we’re not organic, but they don’t get all the fertilizer and pesticides that large Nurseries typically use. They grow to sell the plants. We grow the plants to plant them to harvest for food. They have to transition from a protected environment to harsher conditions and not only survive but thrive. Often, plants that receive too many chemicals seem to forget how to survive.

Get your garden off to an early start by pre-ordering your plants today.

Peppers

    • Flavor:

      • herbaceous and crisp.

      • Less sweet than red or gold bell peppers.

      • Has a fresh, vegetal taste.

    • Size:

      • Medium to large-sized, blocky or slightly elongated.

    Red Bell Pepper:

    • Flavor:

      • Sweet, fruity, and slightly tangy.

      • Much sweeter than green bell peppers.

      • Has a more intense flavor.

  • Gold Bell Pepper is a different variety than the Green Pepper, not a stage from green to red, even though you might see some yellow in the process. The Gold Pepper starts green, but then it changes into variations of yellow and gold until it is a deep golden color when mature.

    • Flavor:

      • Sweet, with a slightly fruity and citrusy undertone.

      • Milder than red bell peppers, but sweeter than green bell peppers.

      • Crisp and refreshing.

  •  Hungarian Pepper is also called Banana Pepper and Wax Pepper. They are really tasty and go with just about anything. Great from Sandwich to Salad to Stir Fry. It is said that they are slightly spicy. We have found that some are, and many are not. It seems to be somewhat of a “Pepper-Roulette.” They are not extreme, so whatever they want to do, it’s OK with us. But I am not saying they are hot - or not - anymore. They mature to red, and this might increase their heat a little. Most often, they are harvested yellow, much like green peppers.

    • Flavor:

      • Sweet and mildly spicy, with a subtle fruity undertone.

      • Often described as having a warm, gentle heat that builds slightly.

      • Crisp.

    • Size:

      • Medium-sized, conical, or slightly elongated.

      • Typically 4-6 inches in length, and 1-2 inches in diameter at the widest point.

      • Thick, crunchy walls.

      • Often has a slight curve to the shape.

  • Cayenne pepper is a type of Capsicum annuum. It is usually a hot chili pepper used to flavor dishes. Cayenne peppers are a group of tapering, 10 to 25 cm long, generally skinny, mostly red-colored peppers, often with a curved tip and somewhat rippled skin, which hang from the bush as opposed to growing upright. Most varieties are generally rated at 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville units.
